65 Daily Reflections
In troubled times we need to learn how to live well. These pages are filled with reflections to hopefully help you do that.

Daily meditations or reflections are like taking a 5 or 10 minute stroll each day around a different garden.

At first, read the days reflection through from beginning to end. That is like standing by the doorway that leads from your home out into the garden and taking time to gaze upon it all.

Which part of the garden catches your attention? Go over to it and ask yourself, what is there about this patch of ground that has drawn me to it? Is it one flower, one word, one phrase, one image in particular? Is it something that reminds me of something from the past? Go closer to those flowers and spend time getting up close to them. Lovingly gaze at how the petals are formed or the colours or how it makes you feel.

If you feel sad, why is that do you think? If it brings back painful memories, hold those gently and ask life to show you how today you might release a little of that pain. If you discover regrets, try and let them go.

Or you may discover some new and even exciting part of yourself that seems to be coming alive. Maybe life is challenging you to think differently, to be braver, to risk more or be more grateful, loving or forgiving. Maybe you’ll discover something whilst gazing at a plant or flower that you’ve never ever seen or thought before.

Each day try and capture that thought or revelation or discovery as you might by taking a photo on your phone. Keep that picture and write a few lines about how you have grown in some way through today’s walk around this garden.
Tomorrow you will be visiting another garden and you may never come back to this one ever again. What a shame it would be if you could not find the five or 10 minutes required to stroll around it. For you never know what you might discover about yourself, life and this incredibly beautiful garden we live within.
